Designed with children in mind
We want to help children feel valuable and realise their full potential. An important place to start is recognising children and ensuring they feel self-esteem and confidence. That's why RAM'N is designed with children in mind. This means that its intuitive design allows kids to use RAM'N themselves, and there's room for up to 50 drawings. This means they can decide for themselves when a drawing is finished and deserves to be framed. It teaches them that the process is more important than the outcome - it's important that children don't feel pressure to perform.
Timeless design meets children's art
RAM'N was designed in 2013 by Thomas Pii Winkel, who wanted to create a beautiful and functional solution to showcase and recognise his daughters' creative works. He wanted to recognise and enjoy the girls' creativity when they proudly came home with artwork, but that didn't happen because the drawings just ended up in a pile or tucked away in a box. At best, the drawing ended up on top of the others on the fridge door.
With his background as a cabinetmaker and designer, Thomas combined his love of craftsmanship and timeless design to develop a frame that both celebrates children's creativity and fits perfectly into the aesthetics of the home.
Unique features
RAM'N is characterised by its unique design that allows children to frame their own art in seconds by simply pressing in the drawing. The frame has a large capacity for up to 50 drawings and RAM'N is the only frame on the market that can rotate 360 degrees. The outer frame can easily be clicked out, making it possible to view all the artworks and follow the creative development.
